Chudjak, also referred to as Poljak, is a derivative of the Wojak character, widely known as "Feels Guy." It initially spawned from the meme known as Le /pol/ Face or Le Pollack, intended to caricature the stereotypical appearance of the average user on the 4chan /pol/ board. This includes personas such as incels, and far-right public shooters. The character in the image is visually portrayed with a despairing expression, crying, and wearing glasses, designed to mockingly resemble such individuals.
The Chudjak meme first made its appearance on the internet platform 4chan around August 2019, initially under the names "le pollack" and "le /pol/ face." It was first posted by an anonymous user on December 3rd, 2019, on the /pol/ board (see the 4chan post). Subsequently, the Wojak variant of this meme, known as Poljak, and later Chudjak, was adopted on Bunkerchan, a left-wing counterpart to 4chan. Its adaptation was first noted on August 30th, 2020, by another anonymous user on the /leftypol/ board. This version was also inspired by the El Paso shooter Patrick Crusius, and aimed to reflect the look and demeanor of stereotypical /pol/ users, incels, and far-right public shooters.
