Subsequently, the image and article were featured on Lobshots and later included in a meme collection on Piximus. By December 21st, 2011, it had found its way onto the r/funny subreddit here, where it received over 1,300 upvotes. The man in the photograph has been speculated by some to be the former American football quarterback Tony Romo, with suggestions that the woman could be singer Jessica Simpson or model Joy Trimble.^[1]
